A Flying Instructor is a person who teaches others how to fly an aircraft. A flight instructor serves to enhance or evaluate the knowledge and skill level of an aviator in pursuit of a higher pilot’s license, certificate or rating.
The Flight Instructor Rating allows the holder to give flight instruction to students training to acquire a Pilot’s License. Once qualified, the privileges can be extended to different courses as required.
