• A Private Pilot’s Licence cannot guarantee one a job, one can only fly for leisure activity such as sightseeing and flying a friend or family member to a picnic site for lunch. Legally with a Commercial Pilot’s Licence, one is allowed to work as a commercial pilot. However, the employers in today’s industry require one to have acquired a Multi Engine and Instrument Rating. With this rating endorsed, one becomes more marketable and he/she is able to secure placings in various airlines and aviation companies. Look out for a list of Commercial Aviation employers in Kenya which we shall put up on our website soon. A pilot who satisfies all requirements to join a commercial aviation company usually should get placement into a job within 6 months of completing training. However, Aviation is a very security sensitive industry and business is reliant on the security status of the country. During terror attacks experienced in 2014, the Industry suffered a huge blow as most companies were performing at 50% of their capacity meaning that there were no jobs on offer at the time.
Our Alumni are currently working in various companies within Kenya and Africa. We have a good number in the country’s national carrier – Kenya Airways. Watch out for the Alumni page on our website to view profiles of our former students.

Ninety Nines also employs its own students after completion of their training to work as instructors.
